Daily Bible Verse On Overcoming Temptation

Daily Bible Verse On Overcoming Temptation
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

This passage is found in the book of 1 Corinthians 10:13, and it is addressing the issue of temptation and the role of God in it. The verse is saying that everyone goes through temptations, and that it is not unique to any one person. It is a common experience that every human being goes through.

The verse then goes on to say that God is faithful, meaning that He is dependable and trustworthy. He is always there to help and support us, even in the midst of temptations. The verse also states that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able to handle. He knows our limits and He will not put us in a situation that is too difficult for us to handle.

Moreover, the verse also says that God will provide a way out of the temptation. He will give us the strength and the means to resist it and to overcome it. He will not leave us alone to struggle with our temptations but will always be there to guide us and to help us. This also means that God will provide the strength to endure the temptation, not just to get out of it.

The verse is also a reminder that God is the one who is in control, not the temptations. It tells us that God is always with us, guiding us and helping us to overcome our temptations. It also reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles and that we can always turn to God for help. In other words, it is an assurance that God is in charge and that He will not let any temptation overpower us.

In conclusion, this verse is a reminder that we are all susceptible to temptations, but that God is there to help us through them. He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able to handle and He will always provide a way out. It is an encouragement to trust in God's faithfulness and to rely on Him for strength and guidance in times of temptation.
